Modern two-floor library with a reading room meets high academic standards. Here each student will find reference books and other sources necessary to write reports and theses.
The library contains over 14 300 volumes covering such academic fields as: international relations, economics, finance, organization and management, political science, sociology, psychology, law and administration, linguistics, statistics, computer studies, philosophy, public relations, advertising, social communication, marketing.
Moreover, the library conducts inter-library exchange with Polish Institute of International Affairs, European Integration Bureau, the Library of the Institute Fundamental Computer Science of Polish Academy of Sciences, the Library of Military University of Technology, the Library of Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź.
We also accumulate and offer a wide range of professional magazines and literature of about 70 magazine titles including foreign language items: English, Russian, French, and German. Readers have at their disposal Internet periodical services available in electronic version – also in foreign languages.
Computer terminals with an access to the library catalogue have been introduced to improve the functioning of the library which enables students to check on-line using the website www.wsh.pl at every workstation in the library whether a particular literature item is available. It is possible due to the Socrates – Sowa programme.
